Dog-walking and Creative Writing Practice is a practice-led research project being carried out by Tony Williams at Northumbria University, UK. I am interested in the ways in which writers’ everyday lives help to shape and enable their creative work. Over the course of the project, which culminates in an AHRC Early Careers Fellowship in 2013, I am investigating the role of my daily dog-walking in my creative practice.

Read more about the project, the dogs and the walks.

I would love to hear your response to the project or your own reflections, experiences or information on walking and writing. Contact me via tony.williams@northumbria.ac.uk
